Peat was widely used in the production of Irish Whiskeys until the XIX century. Reviving this tradition,
The Peated Clonmel makes itself conspicuous by the unusual alliance of the aromatic power of turf with the characteristic mellowness of Irish Whiskeys. It distinguishes itself by its shades and by its superb balance between the malty character and that of the peat which mingles harmoniously with rare and complex flavours, marked in particular with fruit, vanilla and cacao.
Finish is very long with the persistence, still restrained, of the peat.
The Peated Clonmel is bottled without chill filtration in order to preserve the entirety of its aromatic components and the richness of its texture.
