Islay Connection is a peated whisky 100% Pure Malt of 10 years of age, originating from the isle of Islay on the Western coast of Scotland, and bottled at 40%.
The isle of Islay possesses distilleries whose reputation is legendary : their walls are regularly battered by the winds and the waves of the ocean which they face directly. They deliver whiskies of very strong character, delivering flavours whose complexity and power are rarely equalled.
The marine aromas, evoking iodine and kelp, mingle with the smell of the peat which is used for the transformation of barley into malt, to make Islay Connection a whisky possessing a character of exceptional richness and generosity.
Islay Connection has been awarded the Silver Medal by the tasting panel at the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles 2004.
